The Role:
As the  HR Business Partner for our global mining clients you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring the workforce thrives. Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Recruitment:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best talent for our organisation.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Workforce Planning:
  • Analyse current workforce trends and identify future staffing requirements.
  • Develop workforce plans that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to address skill gaps and talent development.
  • Support the design and implementation of performance management processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting conversations.
Remuneration Reviews:
  • Collaborate with compensation specialists to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark our compensation practices.
  • Assist in the administration of salary reviews and bonus programs.
Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leaders on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Strategic Initiatives:
  • Work closely with the broader P&C team to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative HR programs and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
