As the HR Business Partner for our global mining clients you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring the workforce thrives. Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Recruitment:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best talent for our organisation.
- Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
- Analyse current workforce trends and identify future staffing requirements.
- Develop workforce plans that align with our strategic objectives.
- Drive initiatives to address skill gaps and talent development.
- Support the design and implementation of performance management processes.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting conversations.
- Collaborate with compensation specialists to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages.
- Conduct market research to benchmark our compensation practices.
- Assist in the administration of salary reviews and bonus programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leaders on a wide range of HR matters.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, promoting a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Work closely with the broader P&C team to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of innovative HR programs and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
