A job to be proud of:

St John WA is currently looking for a People Experience Partner to join our newly formed People Innovation and Experience team. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Belmont State Office.

Reporting to the People Experience Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs and initiatives that improve the people experience across the employee lifecycle at St John WA. Using human centred design, the position will identify gaps and improvements and will work to optimise and enhance touch points, putting people first at every step with the goal of improving attraction, satisfaction and retention.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop organisational wide strategies, programs and initiatives to improve people experience. Examples of projects include recognition, employee value proposition, onboarding and offboarding and flexible working.
  • Gain insights into the needs, preferences, and pain points of team members at each stage of the employment life cycle.
  • Ensure people experience strategies and initiatives align with overall strategy and business objectives.
  • Conduct workshops and design thinking sessions, fostering collaboration and innovation to address people experience challenges and produce solutions.
  • Contribute to event planning with the corporate events team.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of implemented solutions on satisfaction, engagement, productivity and retention.
  • Collaborate with Volunteer teams to share people experience information to enhance the volunteer journey and lifecycle.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in HR in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a specialist within a large, complex environment.
