A bit about the role...
The BUSY Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Partner to join our team and support the continued growth of our organization. This position will play a key role in providing general People and Culture and legislative advice to support both our employees and leaders across the group. You will assist with operational employment issues, industrial relations, and employee relations, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth People and Culture operations.
This exciting opportunity offers the autonomy to manage day-to-day responsibilities, while also collaborating with our broader People and Culture team on ongoing initiatives and projects. Our tight-knit People and Culture team of five is eager to welcome its sixth member—someone who can quickly adapt to operational People and Culture tasks, confidently handle Employment Relations queries, and provide support for performance and grievance matters.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Southport office.
What does a typical day look like?
- Provide advice on all aspects of industrial relations and employee-related issues
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team on projects aimed at enhancing employee experience and improving organizational performance
- Review and manage employment contracts, variations in employment terms, and personnel records
- Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Manage operational employment-related issues with key stakeholders
- Offer coaching and advice while developing, reviewing, and implementing People and Culture policies and procedures in line with employment legislation

A bit about you…
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a people and culture role.
- Essential Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or another related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations
- Strong ability to interpret awards and legislation
- Some travel may be required to local sites when conducting onsite ER/IR matters.
- Ability to obtain a police check with no disclosable outcomes and Blue Card.
