Job Description
The Role:
Due to the significant growth of the convenience and QSR business, we are expanding our P&C team to support the business achieve its goals. We now have an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Business Partner to join our team at the OTR Group. This role is instrumental in partnering store operations nationally to deliver our people strategy through great operational business partnering.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve ways of working, serving as a strategic partner to our operational managers ensuring we have great people plans to grow the business. This role implements P&C initiatives through leveraging the Centres of Excellence to enhance organisational performance, foster employee engagement, and support a high-performing workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Advisor: Support and coach Operations / Store Managers on generalist HR matters, driving strategy and decision making to address attrition, absenteeism and rostering efficiencies making sure our customer needs are met with the right people at the right times.
- Collaborative Partner: On a day-to day basis, work with your stakeholders to motivate, coach and lead teams to be high performing and ensure strong succession and development plans are in place for leadership roles across the network.
- DEI Champion: Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
- Change Leader: Manage change and promote adaptability during organisational transformations.
- Compliance Expert: Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.
- Employee Relations Specialist: Support line managers working with the P&C Advisory team on complex employee relations matters.
About you:
- You are a customer focused HR professional with a passion to deliver outstanding people experiences with proven capability coaching leaders and acting as an agent of change.
- You will have experience working in fast paced environments with the ability to display an understanding across all aspects of generalist P&C delivering business strategy though highly engaged teams.
- You will be adaptable, pivoting quickly to changing priorities with experience in engaging diverse stakeholders to support delivery of talent and performance initiatives.
- You will be passionate about creating memorable people experiences.
- Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, you ideally hold experience in the Retail or QSR industry or large multi-site organisation with customer facing team members.
- Flexible with the ability to travel regularly across multiple sites as required.
