Senior Co-design and Engagement Officer

This agency is known for having a great culture across different teams and have excellent office locations.  A great opportunity for an experienced Co-Design and Engagement Officer to join this busy team for a 12-month assignment.

About the role:

  • Coordinating co-design working groups, workshops and other events.
  • Managing the development of co-design meeting materials.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of targeted co-design and engagement strategies and alignment for the broader engagement strategy and frameworks, with branch and divisional business plans.
  • Designing and delivering co-design workshops including conducting and facilitating workshops, generating meaningful insights, and producing effective workplans.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and facilitate the Agency’s participation in a diverse range of co-design activities and events, including stakeholder meetings, information sessions, forums and webinars.
  • Contributing to the implementation and operationalisation of a targeted, proactive engagement strategy, including a forward planned co-design calendar.
  • Preparing reports, briefing papers, Ministerial correspondence, and discussion papers for review by Senior Executives.

About you:

  • You will have stakeholder engagement and lived experience working with people with disability
  • You will have Co-design experience
  • You will have Human centered design experience
  • You will demonstrate well-developed communications skills.
  • You will demonstrate competency in Microsoft applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday
  • Geelong, Melbourne or Adelaide location + hybrid working from home options.
  • $60.26 per hour + Super
