About the role
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for a 12-month fixed-term position as a Learning & Development Specialist within our Support Services team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both remotely and from our Head Office located in Eight Mile Plains. As a Learning & Development Specialist at Relationship Australia Queensland (RAQ), you will play a pivotal role in driving our organisation's strategic learning and development initiatives. This dynamic position requires a forward-thinking professional who can design and implement innovative learning strategies that align with our organisational goals and enhance our team's capabilities. You will collaborate closely with People and Culture Business Partners and Senior Leaders to develop and deliver targeted training programs, with a particular emphasis on leadership development and core capability enhancement.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the design of multi-modal learning materials, including e-Learning, virtual, and face-to-face formats.
- Applying instructional design theories and best practices to develop effective e-learning content.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to identify the training needs of the target audience.
- Coordinating end-to-end training needs for both clinical and non-clinical staff and assisting in the development and revision of programs for delivery via webinars and face-to-face sessions.
- Conducting audits and analysing data related to professional development, while maintaining accurate records of employee attendance and certifications.
- Managing RAQ's Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective tracking of mandatory training and providing training and support for LMS users.
- Monitoring changes in professional development requirements and contributing to annual planning and the implementation of learning strategies.
- Collaborating across all organisational levels to achieve objectives, setting performance standards, and providing guidance to team members while adhering to organisational policies and promoting RAQ's values.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Psychology, Education, or Workplace Training & Assessment, with a preference for Project Management qualifications.
- Proven experience in workplace training, learning and development consultation, and instructional design, including the delivery of effective learning programs.
- Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and a strong background in project management and organisational development.
- A deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theories.
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and produce high-quality written reports.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and strong data analysis capabilities.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement to foster a culture of excellence within the organisation.
We Can Offer You
The salary is being offered between $96,000 to $100,000.00 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation. We also offer our employees as follows:
