About the role

The role of the People and Culture Assistant provides support to the People and Culture Department and all levels of the business. 

This includes: employee onboarding and offboarding, new starter induction, company policy and award interpretation, management of HRM database (TechOne) and reporting for managers, support of payroll activities, coordination of employment contract sign off and preparation, and providing general assistance and guidance to staff.

The role is also responsible for supporting our EVP and Director of People and Culture with meeting the business and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in a people and culture administration role,
  • Highly competent in using Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Adaptable, able to work well under pressure and willing to take on a challenge
