* Salary range $103,625 - $114,818 per annum (Band 7), in accordance to qualification and experience, plus Super * Permanent Full Time

Who is the Coordinator Learning and Development at Hume

You will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of Council's Learning and Development strategies, ensuring implementation of high-quality learning and development programs in line with organisational strategy and supporting the organisation's transformation and goal to work as One Hume.

You will not only influence organisational performance and the employee experience through targeted learning and development, induction and onboarding programs but also coordinate the organisation's engagement with the online learning platform to enable compliance requirements are met and a positive end to end user experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven to develop and implement high quality learning and development programs, that influence organisational performance and the employee experience. Your passion will be in delivering positive and sustainable outcomes, and your expertise will include:

  • Success in designing, developing, and delivering a wide variety of learning and development programs and initiatives, using a project management approach.
  • Diagnosing and problem solving, along with effective decision making to determine appropriate learning and development solutions at an individual, team and organisational level.
  • Research, data analysis and reporting.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation.
  • Agility, customer focus and collaborative approach, with capacity to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, support, and develop others (noting the Learning and Development Officer is a direct report).

Essential Requirements

In addition to the above-mentioned expertise, we require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or relevant discipline, and several years of subsequent relevant experience, or
  • an equivalent alternate combination of relevant qualifications, knowledge, training and/or experience.
