Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

  • $95,880.00 per annum + superannuation
  • Full time or Part Time (4 days a week), fixed term opportunity until 30/6/2025
  • Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days in office)

About the role

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team.

You will be working with nine caring, passionate specialists who support WorkSafe to attract, engage and hire the right talent for our business. The team do this as trusted advisors and subject matter experts who understand business and hiring needs, candidate attraction strategies, and targeted sourcing initiatives. We provide a great recruitment experience and bring a value-added service to WorkSafe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates
  • Building relationships with Hiring Managers to understand requirements and deliver recruitment outcomes according to plan
  • Build an understanding of our organisation and operations to fill vacancies efficiently
  • Educating and advising managers and employees on recruitment and on-boarding policies and procedures
  • Partner with the P&C (People & Culture) Business Partners to provide recruitment and on-boarding support and advice to stakeholders

About you

You are an experienced recruitment professional who prides yourself on excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You thrive in a fast paced, productive environment and strive to deliver positive outcomes for your stakeholder group.

Abilities

  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment with delivery of best practice sourcing and selection strategies
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of an organisation with the ability to provide expertise and knowledge in talent acquisition to diverse hiring managers
  • Ability to comprehend and provide advice on policy and procedure to support the resolution of issues complex in nature
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology to perform your role
  • Ability to flag challenges and trends to appropriate stakeholders (hiring managers, business partners, etc)
  • High sense of operational accuracy, data oriented, problem solving, and results driven
