Specialist Training & Development (AV4)

 

(FULL TIME, FIXED TERM to 31 MARCH 2022)

Ambulance Victoria's (AV) Transformation and Strategy Division is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to develop and deliver training to support the Change Management strategy for AV's ERP (Integrated Rosters and Claims Management) project. The project will provide an integrated ERP system which will deliver an enterprise-wide solution for rostering and claims management to support patient demand and workforce growth to deliver on the strategic plan. 

About the role

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Specialist Training and Development role will develop and deliver training plans to build skills and knowledge required to support the new service delivery model. The role will partner with the business to implement, promote and evaluate training programs and campaigns. 

This role will be responsible for the following deliverables for the project: 

  • Work with the Training Manager to undertake an analysis of the Change Impact Assessment to support development of the training program.
  • Research, source and develop fit-for-purpose solutions to training needs, deploying a range of methodologies.
  • Design, develop and deliver end user training for a pilot and subsequent deployments.
  • Evaluate learning initiatives systematically to measure the success of training activities and capture and share learnings for continuous improvement 

About you

Utilising your significant specialist training and development background, having developed and delivered innovative training solutions on transformational change programs, you will bring with you the following: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. Instructional design or similar
  • Experience working in a Training, Learning & Development role, or similar
  • Experience consulting, designing, and delivering learning solutions, using various mediums
  • Successful facilitation experience and ability to support effective group discussions
  • Proven success in development and delivery of learning solutions to support large scale change initiatives
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications including use of PowerPoint for interactive e-learning
  • Proficient in other e-learning applications such as Captivate or Articulate
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 

Willingness to travel throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria for short periods of time if required.

AV has introduced salary bands, and this position is graded at AV4.  The salary range for an AV4 position is $93,819 to $117,413 (pro-rata) plus 9.5% superannuation.  The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to a position. 

The successful candidate will be required to make a Statutory Declaration and undertake an Australian National Criminal Check in conjunction with other pre-employment checks.
