WHAT’S THE JOB?
The Workforce Planning & Productivity Analyst is responsible for driving effective rostering, routine analytics, and planning processes across the Resort. This role will coach, educate, and inform the leadership team on Award interpretation and application, manpower plans and driving high performance culture.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
People
- Be a “super user’ in UKG Workforce Pro and assist in developing education and conduct training to increase usability.
- Develop and maintain a multiskilled workforce through promotion of job rotation and multi-hire.
- Maintain and complete ongoing UKG Workforce Pro system administration including upkeep of Agency & Secondment Imports, Flexible department forms and Manger Access.
- Partner closely with the leadership team and build effective relationships to enable coaching and education on effective and proactive scheduling processes and overtime reduction
Responsible Business
- Have a passionate understanding of Labour Legislation and HR practices and report potential risks
- Monitor and report fortnightly Leave Balances and utilisation (including shift workers 5th week annual leave provisions) to reduce leave liability to the business.

This includes proactively leading, engaging with and driving a positive safety first culture within and outside your department.
Guest Experience
- Dive into property efficiency systems, including HUB, to promote system utilisation to monitor and improve productivity and guest satisfaction.
Financial
- Be responsible for driving daily time and attendance compliance, completion of timecard exceptions/approvals and overtime review to deliver accurate reporting of labour cost.
- Report and monitor labour expenditure and daily departmental profitability while participating in weekly optimisation meetings as needed and identify gaps to forecast.
- Lead UKG Payroll Closure finalisation by ensuring timecards have been completed accurately, are compliant with a focus on minimising overtime and make-up hours. Partner with Payroll Team and aid in resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in annual Budget and monthly Forecasts submission for labour costs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, self-motivation, ability to work individually while also being part of a team.
- High standard of written and verbal communication and collaboration skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced IT Skills, particularly Excel
- Your experience within operations, preferably within the Hotel environment will assist in your delivery of efficiency, effectiveness, and high performance.
- Flexibility – Work hours may alter depending on Resort Requirements including on call and after hours
