Victorian police are set to resume industrial action this week.

Victorian police officers and Protective Services Officers (PSOs) will continue taking industrial action after enterprise bargaining agreement (EBA) negotiations with the Victorian government collapsed.

The Police Association of Victoria (TPAV) is pushing for a six per cent annual pay rise over the next four years and the elimination of unpaid work at the beginning and end of shifts.

The planned actions include alerting motorists to speed cameras, painting EBA slogans on police vehicles, and displaying posters at police stations.

These measures aim to highlight what TPAV sees as unfair treatment compared to other public sector workers.

The industrial action continues a pay dispute that saw similar measures last December.

A deal reached in May, offering a 16 per cent pay rise over four years and new shift arrangements, was rejected by union members, leading to the current impasse.

Reports say further industrial actions are likely if a resolution is not reached.
